Hi Everyone, The Blackpool Half Marathon has been cancelled so i've decided to carry on with this event virtually. I'll be running around Much Hoole / Longton / New Longton / Farrington Moss on the 26th September 2020, starting at 10am. Emma Moore (George's beautiful mummy) is going to cycle by my side and carry any water I might need. She'll also have a bucket for any donations we might get along the way. It's a long way but I'll just keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep thinking of little George. With just over 4 weeks to go until the Blackpool Half Marathon, training is well underway! I’m up to the 10 mile mark now and even though the training is getting harder, I just keep thinking of George and keep plodding on. Thanks to everyone who’s donated so far, it means so much. With all the storms the last few weeks I’ve not been able to follow my training plan properly but I ran my longest run so far yesterday, 7 miles.
