The L.A.D.S (Longton And District Strollers) have organised their 2nd annual 20 miles, 20 pubs charity walk. This year the walk will take place on Saturday 7th June starting at 815am at The Golden Ball Longton with bacon butties. Registration is £10 each including a tshirt for the walk, map and sponsorship form. Registration is at The Golden Ball Pub Longton or via myself. The walk will be approx 20 miles stopping off at 20 pubs on the way for drinks, snacks, refreshments and donations from the local pub goers in each. All money raised on the day will be split between George's Forever Fund for Meningitis Now and The Walmer Bridge Football Club. The walk is expected to finish at approx 615pm with a raffle and disco at The Golden Ball for all those who have taken part and their family/friends. If you don't feel able to complete the whole walk you are welcome to register and either leave the walk once you have done enough or join us later on in the day as long as you have registered and collected your registration pack on the morning of the walk. We hope you can join us on this sponsored walk and get as many sponsors as you can. Fingers crossed we get a nice hot day to enjoy the stroll and drinks along the way all for a brilliant cause.Updates
