Story
The Smithy Inn Much Hoole held a comedian charity night on 7th February with all ticket sales, raffle, auction and donations on the night going to George's funds. As £2070 was raised in total we have split this between George's Forever Fund for Meningitis Now as well as half going to George's Remembrance Fund for The Meningitis Research Foundation. The generously of people on the night, all those who bought tickets to support us and came along on he night is very much appreciated. I'm sure everyone can agree it was a fun, enjoyable night had by all with lots of jokes, singing, dancing and George's Grandad dressing as a lady! We are very grateful to the landlord of The Smithy Chris and his lovely girlfriend Suzanne who organised the night as well as donating the food and paying for the comedian from their own pockets. We can never thank people enough for their kindness and support in helping us achieve our goal of saving lives I'm George's memory.Updates
